And yet these two clichés speak an irrefutable truth. Too often their anger—a feeling, a reaction, an interpretation—is presented as fact, or, worse, truth. He sighed, and agreed to “give life another chance.” In the end, there are only a limited number of times that one can give something or someone another chance.
