The Unworthy (Las indignas)

The Minor Saints’ blood (like that of all the Chosen) is purer, that’s why the servants can’t clean it. The Superior Sister will ensure she’s made to scream. The sunless kitchen, its window boarded up, without coffee or food, without water or electricity, full of fear. The unworthy and the servants give Lucía looks of fear and resentment, admiration and panic.
