Beartown (The Scandal)

Peter remembers walking alone down all the small streets where he grew up and realizing that people he had known his whole life looked at him differently now. Next to Peter in the photograph stands Sune, the A-team coach, who persuaded Peter to move home from Canada with his family after his career as a professional player came to an end. The nurse’s husband, Hog, is one of Peter’s best friends, and played hockey with him half his life. They go back to Ana’s together, lie down in the same bed, and breathe in time with each other for hours until Ana finally falls asleep.
