In the Midnight Garden

The soft perfume of roses drifted from the bushes below, the full moon illuminating the garden in silvery light as soft petals clamored to greet its long-lost lover, only to be restrained by another. Blood coated the strange beast’s mouth, his hands stained crimson as he tilted his head toward the sky to reveal to the nonbelievers the sin he committed for all to witness. Two dragon heads eating their tail, Ouroboros style, with twin blades slicing into their long bellies. Any mention of Silas before the curse had either been blotted out by black stains of fragile documents or were missing.
