An Infinite Love Story

Vivian had hoped she would get a chance to work in the newsroom considering it was the story that had the entire nation—and the world—riveted, but instead she’d found herself assigned to a murder at an apartment complex in Arlington. These were the instances when Vivian vacillated between wanting to scream and falling a little bit more in love with him, because there was something so utterly charming about Joe when he was incorrigible. Vivian was beginning to realize that when he used that tone, it was his way of testing things out, offering his feelings up in a casual manner to gauge her response. He’d balked at first before they’d finally come to the compromise of renting it out for a year to one of Joe’s NASA colleagues and his family.
